Nili Yelin, The Storybook Mom presents her "Sit Down, Stand Up Groovy Storytime”—interactive tales from classic and new picture books.
Start with a story stretch and learn to tell your own story by the end. The middle is fun too! Calling all story helpers!! We’ll spin a few tales and bring words and images to life! Nili Yelin is a professional storyteller known as The Storybook Mom™. She has been performing stories for ages 0-100 for twenty years and has won numerous awards.
After graduating Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre and Communications, Nili worked at MTV and Saturday Night Live for a decade. Her stand-up comedy career led her back to Chicago to raise her family, and motherhood led her to create The Storybook Mom™. Nili returned to live and work in NYC in 2017. Nili currently performs around the tri-state area and loves her fan base of infants and toddlers!
