Wriggle Review

What actually happens at tot time varies week to week but it’s essentially a chance to get outdoors and enjoy Marsha P Park. Local kids often call it “blue shed days” because the blue park huts open and provide access to their toys, books and games. During tot time, everything comes out onto the lawn and various activities take place, perhaps a walk, perhaps some painting, before an interactive and educational storytime around 10:30am.

Registration is always encouraged (for updates at very least) but you can just drop in and follow the crowd of kids! Keep an eye on their instagram page for any updates due to ‘inclement weather’ - a pretty mild term for an NYC winter!

Why do we love these events?

It’s not easy to rack up outdoor time in NYC and with winter around the corner we’re a big fan of anything that gets us outdoors enjoying the fresh air and learning about nature. The parks program is really good at guided activities and is actually pretty great at all things ecology.
