Art Explorers: Fundamentals of Drawing & Printmaking
Our Monday after-school, drop-off program with Kayla, focuses on the fundamentals of drawing and printmaking within a process art environment.
Students will learn essential drawing techniques and skills, integrating them into multi-media and printmaking projects. Throughout the semester, they will explore their own perspectives on materials and techniques through studies of various artists and their works. Projects will evolve and be refined as students build their portfolios, which they will receive at the end of the semester. This introductory class fosters a warm atmosphere where children can feel confident in themselves and their work, regardless of their skill levels. All teaching artists are dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing studio environment, guiding conversations and project work for an engaging and enjoyable semester of creating!
We follow the DOE Calendar, which means no classes on school closure days. However, a 2-hour drop-off option will be available on those days.
Payment plans can be accessed after registration. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Rose directly at rose@arosiedaynyc.com.
