Introducing SmartMoms Organics

SmartMoms Organics was founded in 2021 by two parents Alice Liang and Crystel Liu. They had the desire to create good eating habits for their children at a young age. They wanted their children to have exposure to a variety of global cuisines and ingredients. They also wanted to spend time with their children in the evening connecting through play, not prepping in the kitchen.

This is how SmartMoms Organics was born, two moms with a passion for healthy eating and quality connections. They started with a small group, helping one another, this grew to providing food for their local community and today they provide fresh, warm lunches to daycares and dinners to families.

The food is organic, farm fresh, seasonal and veggie packed. They have a nutritionist who specializes in picky eating, reviewing all menus for balance and making sure that the right nutrients are selected for the appropriate development age.

The global variety of the menu has been a hit with parents, with lots of thank you notes for preparing their children to be more open eaters when starting kindergarten.

The chefs at SmartMoms Organics are Culinary School Trained. They are all parents and wanted to create something that would benefit children and allow them present for their own children. The advantage for SmartMoms Organics in having these chefs in the kitchen is that they are able to use advanced techniques and their wide repertoire of dishes to create truly interesting and delicious meals. The menu therefore changes every week. There are of course some familiar dishes on the menu, yet also some fun lesser-known dishes that can expand our little foodies’ palates.

When they think big SmartMoms Organics dreams of supplying more daycares. The best way to do this is by connecting with parents who recommend them to the school. Children eat better when surrounded by peers doing something similar, so this is the best way to influence children to try new things.
