Mindful parenting series

Next year, in collaboration with note the moments, weโ€™ll be hosting a series of events designed to help you take a moment for yourself.

We know that life as a parent isnโ€™t simple, and itโ€™s not easy to find time for yourself. Baby sitters cancel, kids get ill and sometimes youโ€™re so damn tired you canโ€™t even spell mindful let alone think about it. BUT, there is something incredibly powerful in taking that time for yourself (even if you have a little wriggler with you). Taking a moment to reflect on your personal journey alongside other parents sharing in the universal highs and lows of parenthood can be such a release.

At each event you can expect:

  • Guided meditation & simple grounding techniques you can use any timem anywhere

  • Conversation prompts to guide your reflection and guide conversation

  • Time and space to reflect and set intentions through journalling

All events are extremely informal and youโ€™re welcome to come exactly as you are, with or without child, calm or chaotic! This is time for you, a play date with purpose!

Types of events

  • Mindful Playdates : a regular opportunity to drop in, journal, try a new meditation technique and chat to other parents while the kids play safely. This is a meet up that cuts the small talks and provides an opportunity to connect in a meaningful way.

  • Journaling & Meditation Event: Meditation with a wellness expert, followed by guided journaling

  • Supper Club: guided conversation and journaling around the journey of parenthood
